Vida Vegan Conference Ticket Giveaway

As I mentioned a while ago, I’m attending the 2013 Vida Vegan Conference (VVC) in Portland this May. What is the VVC, you might be wondering? Founded by the lovely Janessa, Michele, and Jess it’s 3 days of seminars, talks, food, fun (duh), and exhibitors all with a vegan twist. And of course, we’ll be prowling the vegan-friendly streets of Portland along the way. This will be my first time visiting Portland and as you can expect I am beyond excited. I might pee my pants actually.

When is it? The VVC 2013 will be held on Friday-Sunday, May 24-26, 2013.

Where? Portland Art Museum, 1219 Southwest Park Avenue Portland, OR 97205

Is there a schedule break down for each day? Why I’m so happy you asked. For the complete VVC schedule see here.

Recently, a reader named Grace contacted me explaining that she bought a ticket to this year’s VVC, but is sadly not able to attend anymore. And because of her super generous heart she’s offering the ticket to one lucky reader! Yes, you have the chance of winning a ticket valued at $280.00 for 3 days of conference fun! If you think you can make it, please leave a comment below to enter this contest.

Please note that the winner will be responsible for all travel, food expenses, and accommodation costs incurred. This giveaway is for the conference pass only. I will select the winner from the comments via  a random number generator and the contest will be open until Tuesday March 12th. The winner will be announced right here on the blog next week! Keep your eyes peeled.

Think you’d like to attend this year’s VVC? Leave a comment below to enter or pass this contest on to a friend who might be interested in going. Thanks again to Grace for her generous giveaway. Good luck to all and I hope to see you there!

WINNER UPDATE:

If you are still thinking about attending the conference (and I think you should!), there are still tickets for sale.

Hey Angela! That Nut free pesto look utterly amazing! I’m thinking about taking that recipe and subbing the millet for quinoa. YUM! Anyhow, Spending 3 days at that conference and maybe meeting you in person would be an absolute dream come true!

I live just a few blocks from the Museum here in Portland and would LOVE to go! At the very least I’d love to meet up with you at the White Owl on Thursday night, if you are planning on going you will love it!. I’m a Vegan “Glutard” and they have no problem accommodating me – their Walnut-Beet burger is heaven but you can’t go wrong in this city. I am convinced that Portland has the BEST food in the US and beyond…fun, fun, fun!

I would love to attend this conference! I looked at going last year, but it didn’t fit into my schedule. What a great way to meet like-minded people and learn from others!

oh wow that would be super awesome!! I’m going to be in Portland, OR for work around that time anyways :). It would be a perfect way to get the most out of my trip since I’m just starting to dip my toes in the vegan pool but already work in the fruits-vegs industry, lol.

I live in Portland and I have a couple of friends who will be going to the conference, but I can’t afford it this year. Maybe this is my chance!

I would absolutely LOVE to go to Vida Vegan Con. Since going vegan in January 2013, I’ve learned a lot and am so passionate about helping animals in any way that I can. So this experience will be so valuable to me, I know I still have a lot to learn.

Plus, I’ve never been to Portland, but I’d make the trip to go to this conference. I’ve heard it’s one of the most vegan-friendly cities out there! It would be a fantastic opportunity and a mini-break from wedding planning. Getting married at the end of June. :)

I am dying to go to this conference! I am a college student and will be pursuing a master’s degree in nursing in the fall, then plan to use my passion for well-being and plant-based nutrition to help other people improve their own health!

Patsy March 12, 2013 at 8:36 pm
