Good afternoon!
I think it is safe to say that this place is a complete baking madhouse!!!

Some of you were asking me what my apron says on it (featured in the video yesterday!)
Yup, I’m the Queen of Tarts…thanks mom! lol. Cheeky isn’t she?

I was given this sample at the CHFA Trade Show. Ok, ok, I wasn’t supposed to have it, but after sampling it I had to have some. I begged Dr. Kracker for a box.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this Flatbread.
I tried the Seedlander flavour.
Oh. Me. Oh. My.

Each cracker is about the size of my hand.

It is the crunchiest Kracker I have ever tasted in my life. I love me a good crunch. This would be off the wall delicious paired with salsa or hummus.

Good nutritional profile:

And then I was extremely disappointed when I went to the website to order some online.
They are pretty expensive!
One box will cost you almost $21 bucks. For 6 boxes of 6 flatbreads that is. Expensive, but not as expensive as I thought! I still don’t think I would shell out that much money for them.

What are your favourite crackers?

I LOVE Dr. Kracker, but yeah, they are expensive. There’s a place down here called Jason’s Deli that has a similar product on their salad bar and I must admit that I throw one or two into my purse after eating. Soo freaking addicting! But you know, since you’re such a genius in the kitchen, you could probably make your own version :)
You make get a kick out of this, I just recently bought those same flatbreads (not for $21 either they sell them at my local store for about $5 a box)I decided I would take one of the crackers for my snack at work and I set it on a table and next thing I knew everyone was swarming around the craker and asking me all theese questions and one was “What is that?? Are you eating birdfood now??”…and they were seroius. lol
$21 for CRACKERS?!?! what the f are they made out of, gold wheat?
hahaha and thats USD!!!!!!
Ummm, $21!?!?! Think of all the amazing food you could buy with that amount of money! That is about 5-6 boxes of Kashi crackers, which happen to be my favorit!
Glad you reviewed these. I have seen them around but never checked the price. I can’t believe they are that expensive!
Wow you are a baking monster! I love flat bread too and those sure do look yummy!
Omg I want to be in your madhouse. Need an assistant? Will work for globars.
That is one ridiculous price! YIKES!!!
Wow, those are $$$!
I like blue diamond nut crackers since I can’t eat gluten. They are really crispy and crunchy!
OH wow, yes I’d say your house is now a full-fledged bakery! Those crackers sound delicious, but $21 a box is pretty steep. It better be one HUGE box! haha
its not…I devoured almost half of it (3 flats) in one sitting!
Wow, $21! I don’t blame you for passing on that one. So sad. I’m not a big cracker eater myself but when I have I do like the Wasa and Ryvita brands.
That seems way too expensive for a cracker! I like Wasa crackers and Back to Nature as well.
Cute video Angela.
Seeing all of your Uline products makes me miss home desperately. I work for my family from Philly now but obviously am not near all the shipping stuff. I miss seeing everyone every day and randomly defacing their desks with fragile and hazardous stickers haha
Just checked the website, the “pack of 6” is a box with 6 boxes of crackers… like a case. That’s not THAT bad.
ok that makes more sense!!!
21 bucks? Holy crap. That’s wayyy too much.
I have found them at Whole Foods in the US for $4-6 a box. I love their crakers too!
I saw those crackers at St. Lawrence Market for $5/box, I think.
I like Milton’s multigrain.
Oh! and Carr’s whole wheat crackers (The thick ones).
at whole foods in toronto and oakville one box costs close to $8…now that’s crazy expensive!
i’ve always wanted to try this brand…but i’d rather have kelp noodles!
=)
thanks for the review though…i’ve always wondered whether they would be worth it or not…
I’ve been buying these crackers for a while and have never paid $21 a box – but I would seriously think about it! LOVELOVELOVE the Seedlander, but the Cheddar Pumpkin Seed is really good to. Think I pay around $4 at Whole Foods….
It is $21 approx USD for 6 boxes!!!!! Not as bad. :)
I just won some of these in a contest and can’t WAIT to try them! I’ve heard that they’re great, but haven’t found them around here yet.
congrats on the award! i voted for you!!!
wow look at all those glo bars! LOOKS AMAZING!
miltons cracjkers are soo good! i really enjoy kashi crackers too! they are great with PB
oh and i have to give a shout out to ak-mak!!
Thanks for voting for me!!!
Yikes…that is pretty expensive for some crackers! I found the best crackers at Costco called Suzie’s Flatbread in the Kamut Sesame flavour and they are so good! We go through them like make. There is about a 100 crackers in a box for like 12 bucks!
I love your organization! Nice neat rows :-)
I love the Trader Joe’s Multi Grain crackers. They are so yummy with anything :-)
They are super yummy and super costly! If I buy them I really try to ration them out.
I’m a little boring and usually buy Triscuits. :) But Wasa are SO good too!
I love Dr. Kracker!
Two other favorites of mine are Mary’s Gone Crackers and FINN caraway. I’d love to develop a good recipe to make at home – anyone have one ? :)
100 calories for that one little cracker??? not worth the money or the calories in my opinion, but that’s just me :) haha
the pictures are deceiving…the cracker is actually HUGE and THICK!!!
I don’t much variety around here.. wasa, ak-mak, kashi. right now i’m munching on a box of kashi tlc crackers at work with my homemade hummus. pretty good snack!
I’m a fan of Mary’s Crackers, but I also love flavoured triscuits.
me too for mary’s organic crackers…can be found here in canada on sale often at shoppers drug mark….ching ching
Those crackers do look wonderful, but you are right. I probably couldn’t justify shelling out that kind of dough.
Look at all those amazing Glo Bars!! You’re a baking machine!! (and I mean that as a complete compliment!) I love your apron, too. Totally adorable.
I’m all about Wasa crackers! With Peanut butter!
There are these crackers in a white and green box at Costco that I LOVE, and are always a hit when I serve them … I can’t remember the name of them though!
My favorite cracker is one that’s baked a little bakery in Washington State. You should seriously try these and use it as inspiration for your bakery. SO DARN GOOD. http://www.artisanalcheese.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PC-11009
Mary’s Crackers are really good!!! I also like AkMak crackers as well.
Never tried Dr. Kracker but they look really seedy! Love that.
I think they sell these at whole foods. i can’t wait to try, they look great!!!
Dr. Kracker promotes feelings of robustness!
Considering how dense & satisfying they are, a box goes a long way. This isn’t the kind of flimsy cracker where you’ll eat the whole bag in one sitting. If you’re poor & starving, one box is two or three meals-worth of wholesome goodness.
They went from $3.50/12oz to 4.50/8oz (dropped two flatbreads from the pkg) about two-years ago. Still one of the best crackers on the market.
I’ve been wanting to try those for a looong time! They look so hearty and tasty.
I can’t wait til I order some of your Globars! Gotta save some money first :D
The best cracker for those who love lots of seeds and lots of crunch.
