Amazing Grass Giveaway!!

by Angela (Oh She Glows) on June 4, 2009

This is possibly the most excited I have ever been to review products! I was just thrilled to receive a whole box of Amazing Grass products. I was even more delighted to see all the awesome loot inside the box!

Thank you Teri from Amazing Grass! :D

I think this is similar to what they call Green Monster Heaven.

If you are a good little Green Monster, you just may get there some day too…

I don’t know what I was more excited for, the products or the awesome LARGE spout GM transportable cup!!!

Only a Green Monster company would know to make a spout that BIG! :D

Here is what I tried for my very first Amazing Grass Green Monster:

I was surprised to find that I only needed one Tablespoon to do the trick!

I was tempted to put in more, but I thought for the first one I would follow the rules!

IMG_2582 Now that’s green!

  • 1 T Peanut butter
  • 2 organic kale leaves
  • 1.5 cups Almond Breeze
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • ice
  • 1 T Amazing Grass Organic Wheat Grass

PS- See my thumb nail?? That’s what happened to my nails when I started drinking green monster’s- crazy long!

I LOVED that cup!!! :D You will definitely be seeing this cup again.

  • It tasted awesome!
  • I was surprised that it didn’t taste much different from my normal GM! I couldn’t really taste the powder, just a tiny bit I guess.
  • I loved the dark green colour
  • I felt super energized after drinking this this morning!! Even more so than usual. I just felt very happy and healthy. :)

Now because Teri and I love Oh She Glows readers so very much, we are holding a contest for a sweet Amazing Grass Prize Package!

I’d like to try the superfood. I put spinach, kale, and / or collard in my morning smoothies along with fruit, almond butter, and rice milk, and I’m reluctant to try green powders because they tend to taste too…well..GREEN! So I’m hopeful that Superfood will prove me wrong :)

Ahh I cannot decide! I’ve been seeing a lot of Amazing Grass products on blogs recently. I would like to try either the amazing meal, chocolate superfood or wheat grass. I’m a true Green Monster follower and just got my dad to drink one today. :)

I would most like to try the Green Superfood for my new love, Green Monsters:)

I would also love to try the Kidz Superfood in a smoothie to trick my 2 year old in to consuming some great veggies:)

If it’s not too late, count me in for the contest! I’d be interested in giving the bars a try, as well as the green superfood powder. I haven’t jumped on the green monster bandwagon just yet, but I’ve definitely been thinking about it…

Great contest!! I’m going to try the wheat grass.

Jacqueline June 10, 2009 at 3:41 pm

I’d definitely want to try the organic wheat grass – and that awesome looking cup. But everything, except maybe the chocolate stuff, looks good.

Brandi June 10, 2009 at 3:53 pm

I would like to try Kids Super Food for my non healthy eating kids!

Jess June 10, 2009 at 4:23 pm

Well, darn, looks like I’ve missed the deadline by 22 mins, but I still wanted to ring in…after browsing the AG website during my lunch break I am most curious about the Chocolate Green SuperFood. Any product that boosts my immune system and is chocolate? I’m beyond game!

Carly June 10, 2009 at 4:24 pm

Well, I have officially joined the movement! I made my first green monster tonight and I can TOTALLY see why you love them. I have to hand it to you, the glasses that you made looked so delicious, I was talked into trying one and I am so happy that I did! I will be drinking on every day without question. As for Amazing Grass,I would have to check out the chocolate one. I am a choco-holic so I can’t imagine it tasting bad!

I would love for my family to try the chocolate Green Superfood Powder. I have been making Green Monsters for my family for about a month now. My little girls, who normally balk at eating veggies, willingly drink their Green Monsters. I’ve been looking to add more nutrients to our smoothies and I think the Amazing Green products would be perfect!

wow, I’m so bummed I didn’t find your site until now. I’ve been wanting to try amazing grass for awhile, but have been deterred by the price. I think I’m going to give it a try and just bite the bullet. I’d like to try the chocolate or berry flavor :)

Hayley July 4, 2009 at 12:13 am

I would love to try the berry or chocolate!! That would be awesome!

I want to try this product but the price seems a little bit high. I have been keeping a list of products that you have mention in your blog and try them out, the problem is that it all seems to be so expensive.

Do you find that you spend a lot of money buying things like hemp oil, coconut oil, chia seeds etc? Or do you think in the long run its cheaper since you are cooking your own meals?

My list is HUGE (I should take a pic and send it to you) and I am SO worried on how much I will spend at whole foods the next time I go. We have a week left here in Trinidad, so I have used this time here to do my research on healthier and vegan products.

Have a good day. Give Sketchie a kiss from me. Purrrr
