Good morning!
Wow is the weather ever gloomy here today! It is grey, grey, grey. The nice thing last night was that it was still light during dinner time, which means there will be better ‘dinner pictures’ from here on out. The worst part about photography is the no natural light photography!
Eric has a Canon 40-D SLR and he is going to show me how to use it so I can start using it for the website to make my pictures even better! I’m excited :)
His camera:
He got this camera a couple years ago after reading tons and tons of reviews on cameras. It was supposed to be top of the line in its’ price range (~$1400). Why am I not using this everyday? Trust me, I’m as confused as you are! lol. Hopefully he will teach me this week!
Wedding Dress Plan
Some of you have asked me whether I plan on continuing with my wedding dress plan/healthy swaps once the wedding dress photo shoot is over to maintain my weight loss. My answer is: I don’t think I will need to. Since I have started working out again after 7 weeks of being off exercise, I believe that I will be burning enough calories so that I won’t have to continue to make many modifications. The biggest modification I have made is cutting out unnecessary snacks at night- that was the straw that broke the camel’s back! Now that I have gotten rid of this habit, I believe that along with exercise is all I will need to stay on top of. The healthy diet swaps were just a way to ‘kick start’ the wedding dress plan seeing as I only had 2 weeks. I am 4 days away!
At least I can zip the dress up now!
Oh She Glows Before and After
For those of you interested, Eric put together a before and after of the OSG design!

I think we did a good job of maintaining the concept of Oh She Glows, but making it fresh and cleaner looking. Perfect for SPRING, right? :D
Breakfast:
This morning’s green monster was a new mixture for me!
The contents:
- 2 organic kale leaves
- 1 handful baby organic spinach
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1 cup Almond Breeze in Unsweetened
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries
- 1 Tbsp flax
I can’t say I have ever had pineapple + blueberries mixed together! It was pretty good and I think I will make it again.
I feel energized and ready to have a productive Tuesday!
I’m off to do some ‘test’ baking this morning! See you later for pics!
PS- I heart Windows Live Writer!!!!!
