Contest ends: Saturday March 7th at 5pm EST Winner, will be picked at random.

Contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world!

Dinner tonight was another awesome spelt wrap! I think this was my favourite wrap combo yet!! I think Eric was getting annoyed because I kept repeating how good it was. LOL

  • Homemade Organic Spelt Wrap
  • Sweet potato (leftovers from the perogies)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1.5 red pepper, sauteed
  • 1 slice Tofurkey
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Kraft Light Balsamic Vinagrette
  • Black pepper

The combo of sweet pepper and avocado was OUT OF THIS WORLD good. I’ve never had them together before and I will certainly be pairing this awesome duo again!

A sweet dessert:

I was still quite hungry after dinner so I had 3/4 cup of Spelt cereal, a banana, and soy milk. I also had one of my delicious Glo Banana Bars:

So so so good!!! Better than the Banana Bread Larabar in my opinion. :D

Afternoon snacks included:

  • handful raw almonds
  • 1.5 servings of Amy Organic Crackers
  • 1/2 Larabar (the other hald from this morning)

If you can believe it I am STILL working on the office! I have so much left to do.

Here are the before pictures:

How did it get this bad!?

Somewhere along the line of Oh She Glows, moving in, and Glo Bakery this office was struck by a tornado!

With TLC’s What Not To Wear on- Friday nights at 9pm EST baby!

I truly believe that a neat and tidy space…is a productive and peaceful space. So it is time to organize with a capital O! Who is with me!? lol.

Stay tuned tomorrow for progress pictures :) And what I am doing to organize and make our office (we share this space- I am beside the TV and Eric is at the desk closest to the door).

I will also be giving a recap of my Crap Free Week….what changes did I see? Was I able to do it??

Rumour on the street has it that cutie pie Katie is holding an awesome Jocolat giveaway! Go now…hurry!

Have a great night everyone! Can’t wait to read your contest comments! :)

Wow, that wrap does look delicious. Honestly, I think it’s the avocado that makes any wrap/sandwich better in everyway!

carolinebee February 27, 2009 at 9:18 pm

exciting!! I would love that vid. Seriously, your website is a joy to read every day. And I am NOT just saying that for the JM video :D You are so inspiring..and your continuous reminders to be patient, love myself, be at peace, and enjoy life and love do not go unnoticed every day. COUNT ME IN! I just started reading Jillian Michaels book “Making the Cut” I love her!!!

Your blog was one of the first ones I started to read and has honestly changed my life. You are so inspirational and gave me the motivation to change my eating habits and focus more on healthy eating vs. counting calories. THANK YOU!

I will put a link up on my blog for your contest as well :)

Brandi February 27, 2009 at 9:46 pm

How cool!

In the short time i’ve been reading, I’ve learned that it is okay and a great thing to take care of myself, to make a point to be happy every day no matter what, and to enjoy everything :)

Even Green Monsters – which I am *hoping* to try soon :)

lordgracie February 27, 2009 at 9:47 pm

I love your blog, not only because you are always open and honest, but also because you share multiple facets of your life and how you keep a good, healthy balance. You are such an inspiration to us all!

Maureen February 27, 2009 at 10:05 pm

I love how creative you are, always trying to make your own versions of things that cost a lot of money to purchase at the store. You are proving it’s possible to save money AND eat healthfully. Your blog is great!

*Andrea* February 27, 2009 at 10:51 pm

i love workout dvd’s but i only have 2 beginner yoga ones and am looking for a more full-body one like jillians!!

from oh she glows i have learned a LOT. first off, i love the green monster smoothies and have become a lot less intimidated to make them since i see them here so much :D also, i’ve learned ways to calm my anxiety through your tips and tricks such as looking back at old photos (i love yours from your honeymoon!), and lastly it’s helped me learn that being ‘skinny’ like you are means being happy and healthy.. not restrictive and regimented!

Alisa - Frugal Foodie February 27, 2009 at 10:52 pm

I have got to try those spelt wraps! You keep flashing all of these delicious photos, I must work them into the menu.

Jay February 27, 2009 at 11:05 pm

Oh She Glows has impacted my life through posts about fitness, health, fashion, and just having an overall healthy and happy attitude towards life. You have demonstrated how to get through life’s tough times (freshman 15, injuries, etc.) while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle and positive outlook. Thanks Angela!

danser81 February 27, 2009 at 11:21 pm

Siobhan February 28, 2009 at 12:17 am

YAY for JM!! :)
Your blog is something to look forward to every day – for funny stories, beautiful quotes, model-esque photos and most of all clean eating and exercise inspiration.
Amazing! :)

Hallie February 28, 2009 at 1:21 am

I really like how you talk about other interests like fashion, or other areas of your life, like remodeling or finances. It shows there’s so much more to a food/healthy living blogger than food. I also think I like reading about “married life” from younger bloggers who have husbands and seeing how it compares to my “living in sin for now” (I call it that with love :-) ) relationship. I hope that makes sense…

Kaitlin Rupert February 28, 2009 at 1:55 am

I really enjoy hearing about your approach to healthy eating. And I would have never thought about adding veggies to a smoothie! Awesome site!

Leah February 28, 2009 at 3:55 am

Oh She Glows has helped me keep in touch (even if its not directly) with one of my best friends!

Not only that, I love seeing a glimpse of your life even when i’m overseas!

You’ve got so many good ideas for baking & cooking – two of my favourite things to do!

Jess February 28, 2009 at 6:13 am

I JUST started reading your blog this week and already it has inspired me so much. My grocery list has already been switched up. I’m planning on baking some of your recipes this afternoon and getting a blender so I can start to make green monsters. This is a great community for healthy living inspiration – I’m so glad I found it. Thank you and keep it up!

Susan February 28, 2009 at 7:16 am

brooke February 28, 2009 at 7:17 am

Well…where to begin….

lets list shall we:

1) great recipes
2) awesome advice for eating healthy
3) green monsters…delicious.
4) knowing that someone else lost the weight the healthy way and that it is possible.
5) happiness when reading.

yep. those are mine. your site is very positive and its a great place to get ideas and very inspiring.

Mariel February 28, 2009 at 7:22 am

Awesome giveaway! I love your blog because it is honest, uplifting, and motivational! Keep up the great work! :)

Rachel February 28, 2009 at 7:31 am

I love this giveaway!! This blog is one of my favorites. I love that it’s not all about food or workouts. I love the different aspects of your life like the bakery and getting a new house. Your cute kitty doesn’t hurt! :)

This blog has helped me stay positive. I see how you’re dealing with so much to do and instead of being stressed, you are just truckin’ through it.

greenbean February 28, 2009 at 7:45 am

your blog has shown me that i can make some simple and healthy recipes of all the foods i love. like your spelt raps and “larabars”. so inspired!

Regan February 28, 2009 at 7:51 am

Well I have definitely learned alot about simplicity from reading your blog. You have so much great information and tips to give out that I couldn’t just name one thing that is great about this blog. I especially love the creative steps you take to cut back on the bills such as making your own larabars!
Keep up the good work! It’s great!

lesley February 28, 2009 at 8:39 am

Well, I haven’t been reading your blog for very long at all, but it is very inspiring and though I don’t know you very well I can tell you are a very sweet and helpful person and that is very inspiring : )

(the wrap looks very good, btw!! : ) And hope you have a GREAT weekend!!

CJ February 28, 2009 at 9:08 am

It’s your wonderful personality that makes this blog! Always upbeat and seeing the good in everyday situations. Plus I love that you include such variety in your posts.

Anna February 28, 2009 at 9:19 am

You are always so positive and your blog has inspired me to look on the bright side in every situation.
Your pictures have also inspired me to convince my husband that we need a Mediterranean vacation!!

Jen February 28, 2009 at 9:51 am

Great Contest! Your wrap looks great :)

I love your blog, it has inspired me to prepare more homemade foods (hummus & wraps I have tried so far)
Lara bars and Peanut butter are still on my list to try!

Your creativity is contagious!

Katie February 28, 2009 at 9:54 am

I have definitely started thinking a lot more about my body in terms of what it can rather than how it looks. As you’ve said, of course one of the reasons we work out is to look good but lately I’ve been realizing that’s just one of MANY reasons I/we workout and eat right. For me, that’s definitely a new way of approaching my body and its health.

Erin February 28, 2009 at 10:01 am

I love your green monsters and all your healthy living tips!

penelope February 28, 2009 at 10:45 am

Hi Angela –

I’m fairly new to reading your blog. I was getting really close to signing off from reading blogs all together – what I’ve seen lately is such a black hole of negativity. The anonimity of it, I think, is what allows people to spew so much… blech. Anyway, needless to say, your blog is the exact opposite and I love you for it. Now I visit at least twice a day and always looks forward to whatever you have to say – I love your outlook on life. Thanks! Penelope

Siobhan February 28, 2009 at 10:48 am

Hmm, what I like best about your blog is the great ideas you have for making meals- I now eat almond butter, Amy’s cali veggie burgers (yum!) and I’m even thinking about making a green monster! Sketchie’s pretty cute too :)

Becca A February 28, 2009 at 10:59 am

You give me a little more bengal in my life! And I love your money saving recipes!

I linked to your contest.

Lauren February 28, 2009 at 11:09 am

i have been wanting to try that workout dvd ever since you said how sore you were from it the first time!

i have enjoyed oh she glows bc you seem so easy to relate to. you have answered questions i have asked before and it didnt take 10 years to hear back from you, you just seem to really care about your readers and others’ well being. besides that, you inspire me to listen to my body, to enjoy food even if its considered “junk” food sometimes. i love that you still cook yummy desserts and you have discussed different topics like stuff from college and binge eating, because as a college student I can relate to that.

Laura February 28, 2009 at 11:12 am

Great giveaway! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

OhSheGlows has impacted me in many ways I think but the most is probably making my own foods instead of buying them, like hummus and tortillas! Next on the list is nut butters :)

Katie R February 28, 2009 at 11:30 am

OhSheGlows has inspired me to exercise more frequently. Hearing about your workouts makes me want to move / do more. Thanks for the inspiration!

Eva February 28, 2009 at 11:44 am

I really love you tallying what you buy and showing pictures of what you eat– it really is motivational. I am now going to buy a blender and make my own green monsters– something I never would have done were it not for being inspired by you!!!!

Jessica February 28, 2009 at 11:50 am

I love the original recipies and smoothies! I started making my own for breakfast in the morning. I also love reading the inspirational posts and beauty reviews, they add a lot to your blog, not just this is what I ate and pictures, it makes the blog stand out from the others.

Amanda February 28, 2009 at 11:59 am

Your blog has shown me I can actually eat meals and snacks in a healthy way!

april February 28, 2009 at 12:07 pm

How fun! your blog helps me focus on not relying on only calories, but instead helping me focus on nutritious foods!

stephanie p February 28, 2009 at 12:52 pm

I love seeing your healthy meals and positive attitude!

I also love Jillian! I hope I win this. :)

Kendra February 28, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Due to your fantastic website, I have recently begun making my own tortillas AND green monsters (what a great way to get in some extra veggies everyday!)

Holly February 28, 2009 at 1:22 pm

Oh She Glows has become my favorite blog because of the wonderful, uplifting environment and the motivation I get from observing your healthy lifestyle and drive for success in achieving your dreams! I love what you have done, and you are changing lives in a positive way daily :o)

Holly February 28, 2009 at 1:29 pm

I love how your blog is not JUST about food or JUST about exercise…you incorporate fun, girly, celebrity topics, too. I love food and exercise, but it’s nice to think about other things. :-) I also love how optimistic and upbeat you are! Even in reading about how you haven’t been able to work out due to your injury (I’ve been there!) you still come through as cheerful and positive. :-)

Darci February 28, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Well I have to say that I have been a reader (lurker!) for a while now! I love that it is not only about healthy eating and exercise, but other daily “life” things! You always add a pep to my steps throughout the day! :)

PS I already have Jillian’s 30 Day Shred…but if I won I am going to give it to my sister! :)

Kristie Lynn February 28, 2009 at 3:56 pm

I love how you take pricier food items that are major yum (like Larabars and spelt wraps) and figure out how to make them yourself. It’s helpful for someone like me who is not very creative to be able to recreate the stuff myself and not have to pay $2 a bar or $1 per tortilla. So I guess I’d say that’s how this blog has helped me.

And oh how I hope I can get this DVD! I’ve been wanting it so bad!!!

reva skie February 28, 2009 at 6:20 pm

I need some shredding that’s for sure. I love that you aren’t afraid of the meat substitutes. Some people chalk them up to gross without even trying them.

Mrs Money February 28, 2009 at 6:47 pm

You inspire me to eat better and exercise! I want to be healthy so I can get pregnant. :)

Kelly February 28, 2009 at 6:59 pm

I’ve only *just* discovered your blog, so it wouldn’t be entirely truthful if I said it had impacted my life already! But I’ve been in the mood to start getting more physically active, and I think I’ll find lots of inspiration to do so from here. :)

Julie Evans February 28, 2009 at 8:09 pm

I love reading OSG because Angela does a great job of mixing legit health and fitness info with other “fun” info – i.e. food (always healthy, though!), fashion, personal fun/inspiring stories…
I also just really appreciates how often it’s updated! I love having something new to read everyday. Seriously, when I’m feeling like not working out, or caving in and having a big bowl of ice cream for dessert, I often check the site, which redirects me to what I’m really going for: a healthy, happy, well balanced life. I am inspired and motivated by Angela, and sincerely appreciate the community that this blog has created. (It’s so much easier to stick to a healthy lifestyle when you know there are other people sticking to it as well!) ;-) Julie

Leah February 28, 2009 at 8:11 pm

I’ve linked back to your post for another entry! hehe! :)

Here it is!

Marianne February 28, 2009 at 8:29 pm

Oooh, I’ve heard good things about this DVD.

I think you’ve just inspired me to try and do more with my own blog, since you have so many aspirations for your own. And that fact that you are also located in Canada, means that when you show products you are using, chances are I can find them here as well.

I shall be linking to the post once the next time I post on my own blog :)

PS – the wrap combo looks pretty interesting.

Lauren February 28, 2009 at 9:11 pm

This is a great giveaway! I’m relatively new to blogs in general and yours was one of the first to get me hooked.

You’ve inspired me to become a runner — and like it — and encouraged me to be really inventive with healthy, organic foods. So even if I don’t get the DVD, THANKS!

melissa February 28, 2009 at 9:18 pm

Your blog is so inspiring because you have such a great attitude! I’m really looking forward to seeing how you grow your new business too. :)

Lea February 28, 2009 at 10:53 pm

Rae February 28, 2009 at 11:39 pm

Fabulous giveaway!!

I adore your blog…I stumbled on it through some other foodie blogs, and I am just struck by how refreshingly honest and real you seem….you are very comfortable with your body and life and seem very genuine in helping others do so and not worry about every little calorie or fat gram. WONDERFUL!!

Angela March 1, 2009 at 12:40 am

I have started a healthy eating regimine to take away the freshman 15 I gained last semester! You;ve made me start making home cook meals–away from home!!!

Niki F March 1, 2009 at 1:02 am

Ruby March 1, 2009 at 5:17 am

What a great contest! I’ve always wanted to try that DVD :) I found your site through Leah!

Your site has impacted me by inspiring me even more to also start a blog, and by making me think about food options in a whole new way! I like that you’ve read Skinny Bitch and incorporate that info as much as possible. I haven’t read the book, but know the info, so do pretty much the same as you.

Colleen March 1, 2009 at 9:35 am

I love this blog because no matter what I know I will click over here during the day and receive some type of inspiration! Whether it be a new recipe to try, a super quote to add to my favorites, or just your uplifting way with words! Thank you Angela! :)

Cate March 1, 2009 at 9:57 am

i love how your blog isn’t just about food and you really open up to everyone about other things important going on in your life. you seem to work so hard at this blog, and it shows! keep it up:) great giveaway!!

Diana March 1, 2009 at 10:43 am

Oh how I love Oh She Glows!!!

I love the recipes, the great honest advice, the cute sketchie pictures and the inspiration to live a healthier life!

Since reading I have been inspired to do many things – start my own blog, experiment in my kitchen and start my day with Green Smoothies (my nails thank you!)

This is a great blog! It is obvious that you put much love and passion into it!

Thank You!

Becky in MD March 1, 2009 at 10:53 am

Hey Angela!
I love reading your blog, and you certainly have had an influence on me! THe two small ways I’ll share are 1) I won the Lululemon bag giveaway, and have been using the small bag for my lunch everday (Thanks again!) and 2) I made the dijon salmon recipe for Valentine’s day, and it was delicious!

Crystal March 1, 2009 at 11:35 am

What has really affected me about your blog is your positive attitude! It can be so easy for me to let little things bother me and the way you are able to put things in perspective is inspiring. I also love the quotes you put up!

nadia March 1, 2009 at 12:19 pm

I’ve been looking for this DVD!! Oh She Glows definitely provides inspiration to make the effort to keep healthy in my day-to-day life. I am trying to lose the last few pounds and maintenance has always been an issue for me and I love seeing how you’ve maintained your loss. I’m trying to cut out the sugar like you’ve been doing! I also really appreciate your honesty -I had been curious if you’d noticed a difference since your injury, as there are definitely times in my life when exercise gets put on the backburner and that’s when I struggle the most… :)

Kristen March 1, 2009 at 12:38 pm

I’ve tried Jillian’s first workout of this DVD on my On Demand cable. OH MY GOD! It’ll definitely whip you into shape if you follow this! I’d love to have the whole DVD!

Lacey March 1, 2009 at 12:45 pm

I’ve only recently found your blog, but I have been sharing it with everyone. Even with a girl in my office who is making your green monster shakes in the mornings. I love reading about real people who’ve lost weight and kept it off the healthy way – excercise, good whole foods, and moderation. You offer suggestions in a positive and uplifting way. I definitely love your recipes and ideas on how to treat yourself in a healthy manner without depriving it.

Jacquelyn March 1, 2009 at 3:06 pm

I recently just started reading your blog and I can’t stop. Your recipies(banana lara bars :)) are crave worthy and you incorporate enthusiam into your recipies..like your wrap up above..hellow rainbow of love, looks so delicious. Inspires me to incorporate foods in ways that I wouldnt think about, sweet potatoe wrap, kale smoothie. keep up the sweet blog. P.s tornados always seem to come through my kitchen too :D

Eri March 1, 2009 at 4:49 pm

whats not to love about your blog?

I love the name of your blog! I love how you post at least everyday, or more! I love how you do include lots of pictures! I love how you provide the how-tos for making what we see on here! I love how you’re always trying new things! etc.etc.

Finally, I love that I found your blog!

keep up the good work!

Emily March 1, 2009 at 4:59 pm

I found your blog through KERF (I believe), and I love that now I can follow a health-conscious Canadian blog (sooo many of the other good ones are American and it’s nice to see someone on this side of the border). :)

Sarah March 1, 2009 at 6:18 pm

Hi! I would love to win the video! I have been reading OSG for awhile. I would say it has impacted my life by greatly improving my smoothies! I have been making fruit smoothies for a long time for my 2 daughters and I. I started adding greens to them after reading your blog. My girls love them too!! I have a hard time getting them to eat veggies, so it is a great way to make sure they are getting something healthy!!

Marissa March 1, 2009 at 7:30 pm

Oh She Glows has inspired me to make green smoothies every morning. They are a great way to kickstart my day! Your posts on self acceptance have also been really inspiring and encouraging!

jenni March 1, 2009 at 9:12 pm

that is my favorite workout dvd, so i’m glad you’re exposing other people to it! jillian rocks my socks. (so do stacy and clinton!)

catherine March 1, 2009 at 9:56 pm

delurking to enter your contest! I like your blog because it’s so multi-faceted. in addition to healthy food, exercise, and general life you touch on helpful tips. I remember what hooked me — your tip of putting the lotion bottle in the shower to warm it up so you don’t have to put cold lotion on your body. genius! :D

Ariel March 1, 2009 at 10:02 pm

I recently started reading your blog, and I’m finding it very inspiring. I’m a young vegan striving for balance and trying to incorporate more raw foods into my diet while eliminating a few processed items that I feel are holding me back from optimal health. I love your recipes (you’ve inspired me to save a lot on my grocery bills by making my own hummus and larabars) and reading about your progress. I also really appreciate your honesty!

Ryan March 1, 2009 at 10:24 pm

I love your views on body image and I love your green smoothies even more! I recently started creating some of my own and I think I could drink them three times a day! Your blog is amazing..thank you!

meg March 1, 2009 at 10:30 pm

I love Oh She Glows! It is actually the first food blog I stumbled across a mere 10 days ago. Since then, I have made major changes in my diet. Up until 10 days ago, I counted calories, counted points and watched everything I ate. I often consumed processed foods that were low in calories and fat, but not filling or healthy. I was then binge eating at night. Since coming across this blog, I have been eating whole, natural foods. I made my own spelt wraps and have attempted to eat as naturally as possible. I have been inspired to not only stop counting and start eating until I am satisfied, but I also started my own blog to inspire people like you have inspired me! Thank you so much for everything :)

Jenn (eating bender) March 2, 2009 at 12:14 am

I love Oh She Glows! You are FULL of amazing ideas and I tried my first-ever green smoothie because of you :) You have a gift for blogging that shows in each and every one of your posts. I know that there are only wonderful opportunities in your future.

I also am loving the crap-free posts – so inspiring!

Thanks for the awesome giveaway – I will definitely link back to you on my next post!

Your Glo banana bars are also FABULOUS :) Have a great night!

Hey there! I’m fairly new to your blog (reading all the way from Israel!), but I’ve gone back and read a lot of the archives. I’ve been having some struggles while trying to turn over a new leaf and live a healthier lifestyle– your blog is really dynamic and you write about a *lot* of different things– it reminds me that ‘being healthy’ isn’t just about food.

Krista March 2, 2009 at 7:04 am

So I’m going to give up my “lurker” status to tell you how awesome I think Oh She Glows is! :)

I love that it inspires me to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle, even when I’m busy! And you always have the most interesting and yummy sounding recipes!

haya March 2, 2009 at 7:57 am

you inspire me to continue on my do it myself path and to continually challenge myself

Jill March 2, 2009 at 9:32 am

Oh, I was just looking for this at Sam’s this weekend and could not find it! Keeping my fingers crossed that I win!

I love your reading your blog to get some great new food ideas. I am also excited about your Glo Bakery!

Jacklynn March 2, 2009 at 10:31 am

mel H March 2, 2009 at 10:31 am

I love how you are so open and honest about your life and struggles. Some bloggers do not seem human all of the time, but you prove you can be human and still be so beautiful and healthy, while enjoying a normal life. Thank you
Mel H

Great giveaway! I like to read your blog because of your writing & enthusiasm. And a little Sketchie here and there doesn’t hurt! ;)

LT March 2, 2009 at 10:36 am

I can’t believe I haven’t entered this contest yet!! I read your blog all the time! Well, I have to say it is soo wonderful how positive you are, of course. But beyond that, I really love your zest for life.

One of my biggest passions is traveling & seeing the world (I’m going to live in Madrid for the next year as an au pair!) and I love that you incorporate your passions, like traveling & fashion, into the blog. I think healthy eating/exercising can kind of take over your life and become your only focus when you’re just getting into it or trying to lose weight…and it’s just great to see how you live a healthy life while still enjoying other things and having other interests. Keep it up!!

**I am really sorry about the injury, I know how frustrating it is. But it does truly make you appreciate the fact that you CAN exercise/run/be active when you are well again, that’s for sure!!

Sara March 2, 2009 at 10:42 am

This is a great contest! I’d love the DVD! Your blog is a great read; you have a fantastic attitude, especially about working out after an injury. It’s helpful for people to know that you can still work out, just in different ways.

Katie March 2, 2009 at 10:57 am

Hmm, since reading foodie/healthy living blogs before I cook something I try and think of how you would add in more healthy items and before I nibble on a snack/treat I think “would I eat this if I had to post it on my blog/be accountable to the WORLD?”

Gets me thinking and putting down junky food!

julz March 2, 2009 at 11:02 am

EASY! You glow from WITHIN. I think you are one of the most incredible bloggers. You’re a beautiful, vibrant, and positive light of Energy that my day, honestly, does not feel complete without! I love you! :)

Jenny March 2, 2009 at 11:04 am

I really love your recipes – especially the banana bread! I always thought I disliked bananas, but your blog has opened my mind up to all the possibilities!

Adelle March 2, 2009 at 11:15 am

That looks like a great video! OSG is a great blog and has recently been incorporated into the 3-4 blogs that I follow on a regular basis. For the first time ever, I am almost ready to give veggie smoothies a try.

Jen March 2, 2009 at 11:33 am

Your blog is inspiring and I love the quotes. :)

Katie March 2, 2009 at 11:40 am

You inspired me to incorporate green drinks into my diet on a regular basis :). OSG also reminds me that health is about balance – I love your site :).

jhmaurer March 2, 2009 at 12:06 pm

Your outlook on living a healthy lifestyle really inspires and motivates me- and I love the quotes that you add at the end of your posts!

Marcy March 2, 2009 at 12:09 pm

I love your site! The “Green Monsters” have been the best addition recently, and have inspired me to drink the same mixture myself. I feel so much healthier knowing that I am ingesting a vitamin packed drink every morning and starting my day off on the right foot.

Thanks for offering such great content!

Ashley March 2, 2009 at 1:35 pm

I also have maintained a 25lb weight loss since college (graduated in ’06) so to read about how others did it is motivating and great to see others doing it. I’ve read so much about the 30 pound shred and need to try it asap! It’s sold out in every Boarders in NYC!! How crazy is that!

Kristine March 2, 2009 at 2:10 pm

I love the optimism that is portrayed constantly in your blog! You just seem so happy and upbeat about everything, and it truly shows! I also am inspired by your weight loss story and can relate to it in many ways. I also really want to purchase items from GloBakery! Yay!! Love ya and your blog! :) :)

Ashley H March 2, 2009 at 3:52 pm

I love your honesty. Your explanation of CFW and why it was such a good idea for you was inspiring. I have thought about doing CFW but have yet to stick with it and get stuck in the maybe next week mentality. Maybe now i will try again.

Carrie March 2, 2009 at 4:09 pm

You have actually made me crave your green monsters! I made one this weekend, was totally scared to drink it – not sure why because I like all the ingredients on their own. But alas I drank it and could barely taste the “green” in it. Because of you I have to thank for this new found treat. {{{{Hugs}}}}

Sarah M B March 2, 2009 at 4:29 pm

I enjoyed reading about how you quit your job. I am thinking about quitting my graduate program to pursue what I really love and it was inspirational to think about others who have done the same thing.

Jen March 2, 2009 at 5:20 pm

What a great giveaway!!! I have been wanting to try her DVD’s! I found a link to Oh She Glows from Katheats and I just love both sites! I have been getting great ideas from you (the green monsters!) and truly appreciate your peaks into your makeup drawers (almost identical to my own!)

Melissa March 2, 2009 at 8:38 pm

I have never commented before but I definitely wanted to let you know how your blog has really impacted my life. I recently became vegetarian and really started evaluating what I was putting into my body…. having some amusing and very insightful to read on a daily basis is awesome! I love the great vegetarian recipes and lunch ideas (tofurky!)

Carly March 7, 2009 at 8:52 pm

Carly H- I have just recently found your blog, but LOVE IT!!! I am a teenager who absolutely loves health, i lost 25 pounds 2 summers ago, and have kept most of it off. I just love reading your blog because it keeps me motivated! Instead of focusing on loosing weight, your blog focuses on being healthy and giving your body the nutrients that it ACTUALLY needs, rather than just a fad diet! thanks so much for the blog, it helps me a lot!!! :)

Ruth March 16, 2009 at 11:48 pm

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Michelle S. September 9, 2010 at 11:07 am

I absolutely love your DVD’s. They are so inspirational. I would love to try the 30 Day Shred and would be even better if I could win it. I have 60lbs to lose and I know I just need some extra motivation and Jillian you always seem to kick my butt in your workouts!

Thank you.
Michelle S.
