Dinner tonight was another awesome spelt wrap! I think this was my favourite wrap combo yet!! I think Eric was getting annoyed because I kept repeating how good it was. LOL

Contents:

  • Homemade Organic Spelt Wrap
  • Sweet potato (leftovers from the perogies)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1.5 red pepper, sauteed
  • 1 slice Tofurkey
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Kraft Light Balsamic Vinagrette
  • Black pepper

The combo of sweet pepper and avocado was OUT OF THIS WORLD good. I’ve never had them together before and I will certainly be pairing this awesome duo again!

A sweet dessert:

I was still quite hungry after dinner so I had 3/4 cup of Spelt cereal, a banana, and soy milk. I also had one of my delicious Glo Banana Bars:

So so so good!!! Better than the Banana Bread Larabar in my opinion. :D

Afternoon snacks included:

  • handful raw almonds
  • 1.5 servings of Amy Organic Crackers
  • 1/2 Larabar (the other hald from this morning)

If you can believe it I am STILL working on the office! I have so much left to do.

Somewhere along the line of Oh She Glows, moving in, and Glo Bakery this office was struck by a tornado!

I truly believe that a neat and tidy space…is a productive and peaceful space. So it is time to organize with a capital O! Who is with me!? lol.

Stay tuned tomorrow for progress pictures :) And what I am doing to organize and make our office (we share this space- I am beside the TV and Eric is at the desk closest to the door).

Oh She Glows has inspired me to make green smoothies every morning. They are a great way to kickstart my day! Your posts on self acceptance have also been really inspiring and encouraging!

delurking to enter your contest! I like your blog because it’s so multi-faceted. in addition to healthy food, exercise, and general life you touch on helpful tips. I remember what hooked me — your tip of putting the lotion bottle in the shower to warm it up so you don’t have to put cold lotion on your body. genius! :D

I recently started reading your blog, and I’m finding it very inspiring. I’m a young vegan striving for balance and trying to incorporate more raw foods into my diet while eliminating a few processed items that I feel are holding me back from optimal health. I love your recipes (you’ve inspired me to save a lot on my grocery bills by making my own hummus and larabars) and reading about your progress. I also really appreciate your honesty!

I love Oh She Glows! It is actually the first food blog I stumbled across a mere 10 days ago. Since then, I have made major changes in my diet. Up until 10 days ago, I counted calories, counted points and watched everything I ate. I often consumed processed foods that were low in calories and fat, but not filling or healthy. I was then binge eating at night. Since coming across this blog, I have been eating whole, natural foods. I made my own spelt wraps and have attempted to eat as naturally as possible. I have been inspired to not only stop counting and start eating until I am satisfied, but I also started my own blog to inspire people like you have inspired me! Thank you so much for everything :)

Hey there! I’m fairly new to your blog (reading all the way from Israel!), but I’ve gone back and read a lot of the archives. I’ve been having some struggles while trying to turn over a new leaf and live a healthier lifestyle– your blog is really dynamic and you write about a *lot* of different things– it reminds me that ‘being healthy’ isn’t just about food.

I can’t believe I haven’t entered this contest yet!! I read your blog all the time! Well, I have to say it is soo wonderful how positive you are, of course. But beyond that, I really love your zest for life.

One of my biggest passions is traveling & seeing the world (I’m going to live in Madrid for the next year as an au pair!) and I love that you incorporate your passions, like traveling & fashion, into the blog. I think healthy eating/exercising can kind of take over your life and become your only focus when you’re just getting into it or trying to lose weight…and it’s just great to see how you live a healthy life while still enjoying other things and having other interests. Keep it up!!

**I am really sorry about the injury, I know how frustrating it is. But it does truly make you appreciate the fact that you CAN exercise/run/be active when you are well again, that’s for sure!!

Hmm, since reading foodie/healthy living blogs before I cook something I try and think of how you would add in more healthy items and before I nibble on a snack/treat I think “would I eat this if I had to post it on my blog/be accountable to the WORLD?”

I love your site! The “Green Monsters” have been the best addition recently, and have inspired me to drink the same mixture myself. I feel so much healthier knowing that I am ingesting a vitamin packed drink every morning and starting my day off on the right foot.

I also have maintained a 25lb weight loss since college (graduated in ’06) so to read about how others did it is motivating and great to see others doing it. I’ve read so much about the 30 pound shred and need to try it asap! It’s sold out in every Boarders in NYC!! How crazy is that!

I love your honesty. Your explanation of CFW and why it was such a good idea for you was inspiring. I have thought about doing CFW but have yet to stick with it and get stuck in the maybe next week mentality. Maybe now i will try again.

I have never commented before but I definitely wanted to let you know how your blog has really impacted my life. I recently became vegetarian and really started evaluating what I was putting into my body…. having some amusing and very insightful to read on a daily basis is awesome! I love the great vegetarian recipes and lunch ideas (tofurky!)

Carly H- I have just recently found your blog, but LOVE IT!!! I am a teenager who absolutely loves health, i lost 25 pounds 2 summers ago, and have kept most of it off. I just love reading your blog because it keeps me motivated! Instead of focusing on loosing weight, your blog focuses on being healthy and giving your body the nutrients that it ACTUALLY needs, rather than just a fad diet! thanks so much for the blog, it helps me a lot!!! :)

I absolutely love your DVD’s. They are so inspirational. I would love to try the 30 Day Shred and would be even better if I could win it. I have 60lbs to lose and I know I just need some extra motivation and Jillian you always seem to kick my butt in your workouts!
