I hope you are all enjoying your day. My day was very productive! I cleaned house– top to bottom! Well, I haven’t quite finished everything yet but I cleaned for several hours today.
Everything was dusty since the boys sanded down the walls in the family room and it was driving me nutso.
Today’s workout (*smiles) included:
- Swept + vacuumed entire main level
- Mopped kitchen + eat in + entry way
- Swept and mopped staircase
- 2 loads of laundry
- Stripped spare bed and put new sheets on
- Emptied all garbage’s
- Stripped my bed and made it
- Cleaned our Master Bathroom (Scrubbed toilet, Windex’d mirror, cleaned and organized counter)
- General tidying
- Cleaned kitchen sink + counter tops
- Tidying of office, put away papers, mail, etc.
It felt great to get the house in order! :) I love the feeling of a clean house. I will finish up the cleaning tomorrow.
We just got back from the airport– we dropped off my brother-in-law as he is now on his way back home! It was nice to visit with him, and we reeeally hope him and my sister + nephews will be moving back in the near future! ;)
Good news– my upset stomach has been fine today- whew! I was worried I was getting the flu bug that is going around…everyone we know has it!

The funny thing is, I got about 5 of these videos in a row because he kept doing it. I was in HYSTERICS laughing. Remember this afternoon’s post about Sketchie??? I said a day doesn’t go by that I don’t laugh my ass off from that cat….I don’t lie.

Ok, this may be a huge placebo effect but ever since I started eating spinach on a daily basis (it has been a couple weeks now), I feel that it really does boost my mood. I just had a huge spinach salad with dinner and I feel strangely giddy tonight. Could it be the B vitamins?!
I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
