Happy Friday! :D
Well guys, I must say I am starting and finishing my day in (hopefully) the say way today.
You see, my smoothie concoction turned out to be a beautiful wine-like hue. After I saw Kath’s Superfoodtini yesterday, I knew what had to be done.
And so I present to you….
The Perfect Way to Start a Friday
Of course this merlot monster would not fit in a red wine glass, so this Montrachet will have to do. Sadly, I don’t think I will be having this much red wine tonight after my last day at work!
The Superfood Stash:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen organic blueberries
1 Tbsp flax
few sprigs of Parsley
1 heaping handful organic baby spinach
2 small kale leaves
1 1/2 cup Almond Breeze in original
Can you believe how long these flowers have lasted!? Amazing!
Can you see the peace sign in the glass? ;)
The Taste test?
Well, at first sip I knew right away that I added too many blueberries. Next time I will cut the blueberries in half as their taste was just overpowering the strawberries in this mixture. I also didn’t have my trusty ripe banana and I missed the flavour. It was still yummy though and I felt quite michevious as I drank it this morning.
Well, here is to my last day of work! :D I am quite nervous this morning but I am sure it will go well. We are having an afternoon tea at 3pm today for my send off…
Coming up on Oh She Glows:
– A super exciting series of guest posts on how to create the blog of your dreams. Andrew from GoHealthyGoFit will talk about how to design your blog, how to make money, etc!
