Juuust Shopping in the raaaiin….*sings* :D
Today’s weather was the PITS! Horrible! I want a free Saturday redeemed to me at once! lol. It piss poured rain all day, and it was so dark this afternoon. No visit from Mr. Sun today. Tomorrow should be better though…let’s hope, oh, let’s hope.
So Eric told me a funny story today. Apparently I was talking in my sleep last night (I do this a alot!) and I yelled outloud, “You are going to let her run alone??? How RUDE!”
lol…apparently, I was channeling my inner Stephanie Tanner??? :D
Is it any coincidence that I was reading about marathons before bed?

This afternoon was filled with lots of errands! Good errands though!
I got a much needed new pair of sneakers. The sneakers that I have been using have holes in them! Not good, I know. I bought a pair of Brooks Ariel’s that are supposed to be one of the best for over-pronation. I never seem to have luck when I buy new running shoes, they always give me blisters in some shape or form, however, I have hope for these lil guys! I must admit, I am a bit put off by the weight of the shoe (since there is so much mid-sole support they are heavier than the avg. shoe), but I hope I can get used to them! I guess anything seems heavy after using my Nike Free (i.e., super light weight and meant to feel like you aren’t wearing anything!) sneakers for the gym this past year!
And a Polar F7f HRM!
I am super excited to use this model because it has the soft chest strap feature. My old HRM had the plastic strap and I found it to be uncomfortable at times.
I have been wanting new sneakers and a HRM for over a year now, so I am just delighted to use them! I finally shelled out the money for it. I hate spending money because I don’t consider them a necessity but I also knew the sneakers with the holes were hurting my body needlessly! I guess it is money well spent- here’s to health! :D

Now for the much anticipated Guest Dinner post!
Thiis delicious creation came from Melissa from A Happy and Healthy Life
She writes:
Hi Angela,
Sadly supper wasn’t very exciting because I didn’t know I’d be sending a picture of it do you. : )
So what do I have on my plate? Well, it’s my version of chicken salad… a mixture of 2.5 ounces of canned chicken breast, 1/2 tbsp of mayo, 1/3 cup of corn, 1/3 cup black beans seasoned with black pepper(you can also put in curry seasoning). On my whole grain roll I have some spinach and I also spread my roll with french onion laughing cow cheese. Yummy, nutritious and filling(and probably enough for two servings but I needed the calories tonight!!).
I am going to try this one forsure! Looks delicious and so satisfying. Thanks Melissa!

Ok, I need to figure out this HRM (I’m so bad with gadgets!) Eric won’t do it for me because he insists I won’t know how to use it if he does. Ok, he’s right, but damn this could take me a while! I hope it is user friendly.
I may do a post later tonight :D See you soon!
Stay tuned tomorrow for pictures of my grocery shopping trip! And the winner of the Lululemon contest!!
