Vida Vegan Conference Ticket Giveaway
As I mentioned a while ago, I’m attending the 2013 Vida Vegan Conference (VVC) in Portland this May. What is the VVC, you might be wondering? Founded by the lovely Janessa, Michele, and Jess it’s 3 days of seminars, talks, food, fun (duh), and exhibitors all with a vegan twist. And of course, we’ll be prowling the vegan-friendly streets of Portland along the way. This will be my first time visiting Portland and as you can expect I am beyond excited. I might pee my pants actually.
When is it? The VVC 2013 will be held on Friday-Sunday, May 24-26, 2013.
Where? Portland Art Museum, 1219 Southwest Park Avenue Portland, OR 97205

Recently, a reader named Grace contacted me explaining that she bought a ticket to this year’s VVC, but is sadly not able to attend anymore. And because of her super generous heart she’s offering the ticket to one lucky reader! Yes, you have the chance of winning a ticket valued at $280.00 for 3 days of conference fun! Hi Angela! I’ve recently been stalking your website and facebook page for the latest, updated information on Veganism. I have to say, you are wonderful! My sister was diagnosed with Celiacs a couple years ago, and since that time I’ve been learning more and more about my allergy sensitivities as well. We are both virtually vegan (we do each fish occasionally), 100% gluten free, and are always trying to find new avenues to learn about food and it’s power to heal (the transition can be so intimidating). This conference sounds ah-mazing! Keeping fingers crossed for good luck on our side when you pick the winner! :) Best of luck on your continued success!

im really hoping to win this giveaway as a gift to my mom, she is 65 and went vegan a year ago with me, her 28 year old daughter. she lives in portland and can use any vegan help she can get as im in arizona and not right by her side to give her ideas and healthy vegan meals to eat.

Wow, Grace is so thoughtful! I would LOVE to go to this conference; for the past 2 years I’ve been making lifestyle changes to be kinder to myself and the environment and would love to be there to continue my education!
When you are in Portland I would recommend trying Portobello Vegan Trattoria. It was super yumm-o and fancy and Dovetail Bakery. I had a vegan cinnamon roll there that was super heavenly. I would love to attend the conference and if I got to meet you in person I might freak out because you are like a celebrity to me.
