Happy Easter! Love the kitty pics.
Happy Easter! Adorable glass cups!
Great photos. The one with the kitty curled up looks like a Magic Eye puzzle. That is one mellow and well loved kitty. Thanks for sharing your photos. I am someone who is working on building a healthier life, although not necessarily a vegan one. I SO VERY MUCH appreciate your blog and recipes and sunny musings as they help me on my path every day.
Thank you Kathy- I appreciate you too! Thanks for reading :)
Looks like a beautiful weekend! I’m curious about the peanut butter (?) in the little mason jars.
it was actually carot cake! well, before baking that is :)
Looks like a great weekend to me!
Happy Easter Angela!
Bless Sketchy :)
xx
Happy Easter!
OMG! Sketchie is so adorable! And is that on the 16th picture baklava?
Pretty pictures!
Looks like there is some delicious baking going on. Makes me hungry!
Happy Easter! Beautiful pictures as always, I like your tiny feet in the 5th pic from the bottom ;) cracked me up!
Hi Ange,
I wanted to ask if you have ever heard of the Rebar cookbook? There is only one Rebar restaurant and it is in Victoria, BC (where I live) and their cookbook is fabulous. It isn’t entirely vegan, but all of the recipes are easily adaptable to your dietary needs. Seriously every recipe I have made has been amazing…it’s definitely worth trying out. Every time I see pictures of your cookbooks I always scan to see if it’s there and so far I haven’t seen it ;) Just thought I’d let you know! You can buy it on amazon.ca!
No I don’t have it, but I do think a couple readers have mentioned it to me before. I will for sure have to check it out. Is it available on Amazon or in stores?
Amazon Canada sells it for around $20!
thanks!
I love the Rebar cookbook as well!
Aw a view from the lakeshore bridge! And the red tugboat… One of my favourite places
We love it too…can’t wait to take the same pic in another month or so
Looks like fun! I’m trying to figure out what could have been going on in the photo with the bowl of limes and lemons, the books, the colour wheel, and… a kneepad? Lol! Great shots Ange – especially love the ones of you guys outside by the water. Happy Easter!
u calling me weird? hah. The colour wheel is for photography… kneepad is for icing my knee (I use it to secure the ice gel pack in place)…apples and lemons are a left over staging prop from when we had the house for sale. Im sure you will see more of the same next weekend. ;)
Fun pictures!! :) Looks like a pretty event-filled weekend! Happy Easter!
Fun! Glad you’re enjoying your weekend. :)
Looks absolutely fabulous Angela! Glad you’re having such a great weekend :)
Looks like you are having great weather and a fun weekend! Enjoy!
I just adopted a dog a few weeks ago so I’m glad to have a furry friend with me :) In addition to the book Blink and some vanilla spice energy tea.
sounds like the perfect weekend!
I <3 Sketchie!
number one fan right here :)
Beautiful pictures. Looks like your having a wonderful weekend! Happy Easter
i get such a kick out of the fact you’re in oakville now…and random things from my life pop up on your blog i.e. the church i went to when i was little!
Haha – how wonderful! And would you look at that – we have the exact same zester!
Also, I love Sketchie in the baskets – my cats do that all the time, except my baskets are smaller and they barely fit. Still, they cram themselves in their and pretend to be comfortable. :P
The picture of the harbor is beautiful! And your milky coffee (or tea?) looks so good. That’s a great picture of you on the swing – it’s been too long since I was on one. Love your boots, too! Looks like your weekend is going well. And your guests are lucky to have such a great cook!
Love the photos. The Cherry Blossom tree is gorgeous…I love this time of year with the beautiful blossoms! Also, that tea-cup is really adorable. I’ve never seen one like it!
Love the Sketchie pictures!!!!
The photo of the asparagus is beautiful! So vibrant! Glad to see you’re having a great weekend!
Thank you Amanda! Have a great weekend too.
It looks like your having a wonderful weekend! I also love, love, love your “my cup of tea” cup; where in the world did you get it!? (:
think it’s from Anthro…maybe from 2010?
Looks like such a wonderful weekend. The photos with the kids are adorable, and I’m already curious about that bread recipe! :)
The asparagus picture pulls you in. Oh the subtle swirls lol.
I know it’s a bit freaky!
Such pretty pictures and it looks like you’ve been breaking in that new kitchen of yours…FUN! :)
Are they Brooks runners you’re wearing? I just bought a pair! Loving asparagus at the moment, and if that’s lemon and poppy seed cake…one of my favs! Lovely pics! Happy Easter!
Yup just got a new pair of Adrenaline’s…had been buying the 10′s for ages but then I couldnt find them anymore
Oh very good, I got the ghosts. They have the 10′s online… http://www.brooksrunning.com/Vapor-10/1201061B334.090,default,pd.html?start=11&cgid=womens-runningshoes-support

I love your photos and the way you present your dishes. I am so intrigued! :)

Funny that you mentioned skyping because I have a skype date with my sister who lives across the country this afternoon ! Can’t wait!
Looks like you’ve had an amazing weekend so far!
I will be in Oakville this afternoon too for Easter. :) Great pictures, but you took too many of the scenery and not enough of Sketchie!
Happy Easter – love the photos! I agree with Sarah L., not enough of Sketchie! :-)
Aaw thanks for sharing these. It’s nice to step back and appreciate all the little moments like these. Wishing you a Happy Easter! And what are in those little mason jars? hmmm…
carrot cake :)
beautiful photos!
What pretty photos — and I love seeing more Sketchie pictures! I went “aww” at the first one and cracked up at the basket ones. Have a great Easter weekend!
What a breath of fresh air to see all these today! Those carrot cake photos look yummy!
