Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.
These are things I need to know. :)
The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

Favourite cookie – ginger snaps
Scarf colour -fig
Thanks!!
My favourite holiday cookie is the traditional sugar cookie, mostly because they’re so much fun to make with my 4- and 6-year-old. Will have to veganize them this year though.
Favourite scarf colour is so much more difficult to choose. I think I’m going to have to go with Fig, because I love all things purple.
I would have to say pumpkin spice cookies and pumpkin for the color as well!
Cookie- Oatmeal Raisin
Scarf- Pumpkin
Thanks!!
1) Its a tie between my Moms orange drops and her pizzelles.
2) Fig
My favourite cookie is a butterscotch log (sweetened condensed milk, graham cracker crumbs, maraschino cherries, walnuts and butterscotch chips, all rolled in coconut).
I’d like the scarf in Cranberry!
ohhh favourite cookie – so hard! Probably my gran’s gingerbread that I’ve perfected into a vegan recipe. and of the choices above I’m loving spice! It looks flavourful!
My favorite holiday cookies are molasses crinkles. For the scarf, crimson! Thank you!!
Cookie: sugarplums
Color: Fig
Looks beautiful!
i <3 molasses cookies
and that scarf in fig!
Favourite holiday cookie (just baked a batch today!) are called “Melting Moments.”
Favourite colour of scarf – fig!
Favorite holiday cookie is probably gingerbread men! And I don’t know about the scarf color… too difficult! Maybe fig or apricot?
My fav cookies are good ol’ chocolate chip cookies. I would love a GREY scarf!
1) Ginger snaps
2) Apricot
My favourite cookie would be a white chocolate macadamia – not necessarily a “holiday” cookie but an “all the time: cookie!
Scarf colour would have to be the Marigold, nice and cheery!
Cookies – Gingerbread!! Amazing
Scarf – Heather Grieg!! Beautiful
Merry Christmas!
What a great giveaway! Lisa is very generous :)
My favorite cookie is the ultimate oatmeal raisin cookie that you made. I actually have some baking as I type. I must confess that I always make them with chocolate chips however, this time I am making a double batch, one with raisins and one with chocolate. I cut down the sugar to a 1/4 cup so I hope they still turn out great.
Scarf color would have to be spice I think, they are all lovely though! Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, hope you get some of the great things on your list. And I have seen the vanilla beans at Costco in Canada before :) Yay! Costco rocks!
I love russian tea balls (powdered sugar with nuts) and I think the fig scarf color is really pretty!
Looks wonderful! My favorite cookie would have to be peanut butter with a hershey kiss smooshed on top. And the color I would choose…… so tough they are all gorgeous, but barelij. I love simple colors.
My fav Christmas cookies are “Birds’ Nests” (pecan cookie with raspberry jam in the center) and I’d love the scarf in navy! Fingers crossed!
