I love the photos! I like how you edited some of them…very artsy and was wondering if I could hitchhike on the back of your riding mower? :)

You look great on it! Ear protection and all. I just made a joke on my blog that my hearing had normalized after 3 weeks on vacay without my Vita so the 1st thing I did after being home for an hour at 2am was turn on my Vita and make raw vegan cookie dough. Who needs hearing after all :)

You has a chipmunk! Too cute. When I was a kid we had very domesticated chipmunks at our cottage in Sauble Beach – they’d jump up on the picnic table and take peanuts out of our hands…one was even so bold as to make off with my grandpa’s ham steak that he left on a paper plate while he went inside to get a drink. The chipmunk managed to get in between the ham and the plate, somehow balanced the ham on its back and then bolted. You haven’t laughed your arse off until you’ve seen a ham steak grow legs and run across a lawn, lol. Consider yourself warned when you’re enjoying that lovely deck!

Reply

Gretchen June 6, 2011 at 8:07 pm

Good shot on the chipmunk! They are not known for holding still very long. We have encountered them at KOA’s where they have mastered the fine art of stealing/begging food. Most of them needed double-wide burrows.
