Ha, I love it – so true! Mid-race Sunday, I found myself wondering if I could UNREGISTER from future races I’ve already committed to, or at least transfer my registration to someone else. Then as soon as 13.1 was completed, my mind forgot all of those thoughts, and I went home and signed up for another half! We runners are a crazy breed. :)

Angela (Oh She Glows) June 2, 2010 at 2:01 pm

This is so cute. I can definitely relate, too! It’s funny, just the other week I had a night where I was frenzied to find another race before I leave to study abroad. I went to sleep without finding anything, and the excitement has since worn off. Oh well!

Perfect timing, too! On my four miler today, I was thinking of actually not wanting to be training for my upcoming race, and thinking about just running for fun for a while. I was actually ashamed for thinking it! But we all have those days :)
