Those make me homesick…I’m from Calgary and since moving to Ontario, the only thing I miss more than the mountains is my family.

I live in Calgary and the best part of living in Calgary is being able to hop on the highway and drive for an hour and be in Banff. It’s gorgeous!
We also went away for a weekend this winter to Emerald Lake and it was even gorgeous in the dead of winter!

Banff is one of my favorite childhood memories. My family went on a road trip through Alberta and Banff. BEAUTIFUL!

Oh I love these pictures! I went to Banff on my honeymoon…a three week long roadtrip to Canada (as one of my Canadian bridesmaids was getting married in Canada three weeks after my wedding and I was to be a bridesmaid in hers). Worked out great! We LOVED Banff! Absolutely breathtaking! Hope to return someday, indeed! Thanks for bringing back some incredible memories!

That place is gorgeous! Where I live it’s so crowded and busy. I feel like I just took a nice mental break. If only it looked like that outside my door. I think I’d be way less stressed!
I’m going there in 5 weeks!!!!!!! I’ve never been out west and I can’t WAIT to see (and hike in) the mountains.
Don’t hate me, but the bottom pics just got me excited to eat hamburgers there :P

I just have to say this : cows in the middle of the road remind me so much of driving in rural areas of Norway, haha!

I love Banff! Isnt it just so beautiful? Ive been trying to convince my boyfriend to go up there even just for a weekend.
