Straight out of a horror film…
Last night, my brother in law Steve came over and Eric, Steve, and I got cozy in the family room and watched The Bourne Identity. Eric and I are huge fans of the Bourne movies. We have watched each one probably over 10 times. I also may or may not have a crush on Matt Damon. shhhhhh. ;)
Eric and I are going to bundle ourselves up in about 7 blankets and watch #2 and possibly #3 tonight! Can’t wait.
The weather is perfect for some snuggling and movies…
After the movie finished last night, Eric was showing us his new media player. It lets him play You Tube videos on the TV. He decided to put on a bunch of Sketchie’s videos that have now become quite popular! One of Sketchie’s videos now has over 122,000 hits…pretty crazy! This cat delivered when he was a kitten. haha.
Without further ado, I present to you a little entertainment on your Friday night. I hope you will get a laugh out of Sketchie’s crazy kitten ways! :D

My cat climbs the Christmas Tree too. He also tries to eat the fake needles of the tree, which then lead him to puke…you would think that he would figure out that he shouldn’t eat them!! :)
Sketchie will eat just about anything. Bugs, paper, lint, you name it. ESPECIALLY if we tell him no, then he gobbles it down as fast as he can, haha

My roomie currently has a cat, but it’s rather boring haha. I grew up with a shi-tzu bichon puppy and though she lives with my parents, she’s my baby :) Now she’s 15 (so OLD in dog years!) and she’s losing her sight and hearing. It’s funny though because her new thing is to move her big bed (a pillow at least twice the size of her) around our kitchen. It takes her a looong time and she’s out of breath, but it’s all she does now! Makes me laugh every time.

I may have already labeled you into the “crazy cat lady” realm considering the only way my husband got it when I said where I got my AWESOME SUPER-DELICIOUS Glo Bars was to finally just say “It’s Sketchie’s mom!” Then he got it :) I always show him the Sketchie pics! LOL.

Aw, Sketchie is beyond cute! I think I’m a dog person (a small dog person, at that!), but a cat like Sketchie would win me over any day. I recently adopted two rats, and they are so fun. The older one is my ‘lap rat’ – perfectly content to sit in my lap and get scritches for hours on end. :)
AAH!!! This was the greatest post! I’m such a Sketchie fan…ad I’ve talked about him so much that my husband had to come sit here while we watched the videos. We have a little girl, Shelli. She’s a bobtail, so she’s *really* clumsy. There are pics up on my blog. We’ve got that same squeaky mouse that chirps whenever it touches anything, too!
Last thought about the blog; I’ve got to say, it’s pretty freaking righteous that you guys appeared to be watching The Jeffersons during the “Sketchie vs the Mirror part 2.” Joey noticed that right away.

Everyone mentions the Jeffersons, but we have never seen it in Canada- I think it was either a commercial using that music or it was on and we just never caught it. lol.
It’s a pretty funny show. The theme song is iconic, though…that’s what people remember. At any rate, it provided an excellent “musical score” to Sketchie’s epic battle with the cat in the mirror;).

I love cats but my allergies get in the ay. I had to take allergy pills as a kid because I loved cats.
Now I have two dogs: Leo the co-dependent powderpuff chinese crested and Peanut the independent Pomchi (pommeranian chihuahua mix). Love them dearly like they are my kids.

LOL! I have 3 kids…ages 9, 7 & 6. They sat here and giggled and laughed watching all of these….the bonk into the glass and climbing the tree got watched over and over…then we had to look through the other vidoeos of Sketchie on you tube….great Friday night entertainment, Ang! Thanks! :) He’s so cute!

I’ve always been a dog person. When I was little, we had a terrier mix named Blondie who had a masochistic desire to attempt to eat bees. She was stung in the mouth more than once, but somehow, it didn’t deter her. Gotta love crazy pets!

ERGH about the Christmas tree…I’m dreading putting mine up this year. Last Christmas my lovely little Chloe passed away the day after (which was devestating!). I was so upset that my husband went out and foreced me to get two kittens (which I felt guilty about)…but of course, no one can replace what you lost..they’re just different! (-:
The kittens turned about to be a blessing, but they climbed up my tree so I immediately took it down. Now that they’re bigger cats, I’m hoping the urge won’t be there this year otherwise I have no clue what I’m going to do!!
Man. I had Chloe for 18 years (since I was 9) and she never ever climbed the tree or did anything bad.
Your cat is absolutely adorable, not to mention completely entertaining. That is a huge compliment, considering I’m such a huge dog fan. I was wondering though, is Sketchie a specific breed of cat that I’m unaware of? I’ve never seen a cat with such a beautiful pattern. (Well, besides leopards.) His fur is such a trip. I love it.

Sketchie is just too cute!! The mirror fighting is amazing!! haha His body reminds me of Tigger…and I totally mean that as a compliment!!
Those videos were great! I especially liked the christmas tree one! I have a yellow lab and whenever I take her for a walk she always has to start it off with part of the leash in her mouth like she’s walking me rather than the other way around :) When she was a puppy she used to always eat with her back feet in her water dish :)

I remember the first three years I had my sweet kitty Montey….our xmas tree was bare for about 4 feet from the bottom up…we could only have ornaments on the top 3 feet of the tree because otherwise he thought it was there for him to whack with his paws…after that, never had any incidence….he would just curl up under the tree and sleep…it was very sweet. He never did try to climb it though…. hee hee…I miss him, and sure enjoyed your pics and videos…
Love Sketchie is SOOO cute! One of my cats is 25 pounds so he doesn’t fit into any small places. Yippee for Crazy Cat Ladies!

Oh my, Sketchie has the most expressive eyes!
I have a 9-year old cat, her name is Peashi, and she sleeps about 20 hours of the day. She has long legs like Sketchie, and when she isn’t sleeping, she likes to drink out of the bathroom sink. The door is usually closed, but she “stands” up and stretches her paw to open the door.
