wow all i could think while reading this post was pure jealousy! that place looked like heaven! I need to keep a look out when the next food show is in Boston and make sure I go there. It is such a great opp to meet people, talk to reps and learn more about these great food companies. I am so happy you brouight your beautiful bizz cards with you, what a great idea!

And what a great hubby to carry around all your bags! I want to try your glo bars!! Can I order them from your blog? I am going to look right now…

Hey Angela,

As I read your post tonight, I realized how much work you have put forth to make this happen. I’ve been following you pretty much from the beginning, and seriously, kudos to you. You’ve gone much further than most people would have gone, and you’re now a bona fide business owner.

As such, I wanted to give you a tip on something that might actually help (maybe, maybe not, but hey, it’s worth the try). The last job I had was for a woman-owned business, and it helped them tremendously to network in women-business organization. I’m not sure what it would be called in Canada, it’s called WBENC here on a national level. I can find out what is going on in Canada on that angle if you’re interested, I have a bunch of contacts here in the US. But either way, it was decisive for them in making their business successful, and I thought maybe it would also help you. Drop me an email if you would like for me to get some research done for you on that. It’s good to be able to network and position your company, and this is a hugely successful angle.

Either way, congrats. You’ve taken a hobby and made it a business, and few can boast that :)
