Glo Bakery: Wholesome Food Made Fun

Good afternoon!

Whew. This gal needs a break….and Eric too!

We have gotten so much accomplished today. We had an early start (thanks to me yanking him out of bed this morning). I find getting up early on the weekends really stretches the day out and makes the most out of the short time.

I have been baking this afternoon and gearing up the Glo Bakery website for it’s launch.

Eric has been busy as a bee scraping the popcorn off the ceiling. This ain’t the kind of popcorn you want to eat during the Oh She Glows Oscar Fashion party though! haha.

It looks so much better already! We hadn’t realized how yellow-ish the popcorn had become over the years until we scraped it off to reveal a nice, fresh white underneath! That is always a bonus. Eric is about half done now and still going strong thanks to my wholesome treats!

How to scrape popcorn off the ceiling:

1) Cover room in plastic.

2) Spray ceiling with water to make scraping easy.

3) Scrape carefully with a putty knife, making sure you keep the ceiling as level as possible.

4) Place scraped popcorn into a garbage lid for easy clean up.

5) Putty any cracks in ceiling. Sand ceiling.

6) Prime ceiling.

7) Now you are ready to paint!

Tip: This easy (but messy) reno not only updates your room but makes it look much larger!
