Menu 4 Six

Wow…what a late post!

I am way off schedule today. It is nearly 11:20pm. Sorry about this guys- it has been a whirlwind getting everything together tonight.

I had to decide on the menu for tomorrow, browsed lots of cookbooks, made a grocery list & sent hubby to the store while I cleaned and prepped.

Some detail shots:

It’s supposed to be about -20 C here tomorrow night, so we plan to make the fireplace centre stage with a warm & toasty fire!

A couple menu items???

Saturday night dinner menu for Six

  • Spinach Dip & Pumpernickle Bread
  • Spinach, Mandarin, Almond salad (courtesy of my sis!)
  • Steamed Asparagus
  • Roasted Acorn Squash with shallots, rosemary, and pumpkin seeds
  • Baked Dijon Salmon with pecan topping
  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  • Something sweet- TBA! It will likely involve caramel and chocolate!

Ok, I have lots of prep work to do before hitting the sack tonight! I am sorry for not posting the Beating the Freshman 15 tonight- just ran out of time. I promise it is coming. :D

Stay tuned tomorrow for fun, fun, fun in the kitchen!!!! As well as more on my Power Yoga review, pics, quotes, a Sketchie video and more.

Have a great night!

I only posted this pic because I knew it would make some of you laugh. And well, it made me laugh too. And I needed that tonight. Yes, that is ME. The future Oh She Glows in her neon pink polkadot outfit (you couldn’t get it off of me) and my ROLLERSKATES! yea baby! How’s that for a GLOW? lol.

PS- Yes it was Christmas and it was WARM- I used to live in Florida in my younger years!!!

sounds divine. I get beyond stressed when planning menus for dinner partys. it’s silly, but I want everyone to love it so much.
